The Beginner classes run continually, covering the 6 fundamental principles of Pilates and is designed to gradually increase your core strength and flexibility. Each week a new principle is taught and integrated into the routine of exercises and repeating after 6 weeks. This allows for those wishing to remain at the beginner level and also allows new members to join in at anytime.
Core classes are the most popular classes on the timetable. This intermediate level class is a progression from the beginner classes. Exercise intensity is increased with a greater emphasis put on correct technique and stretching. Most suitable for those already engaged in a fitness programme or regular physical activity.
Power Pilates is a progression from the Core classes with increased intensity, and incorporating the use of resistance bands and power stretching for that added extra.
These gentle Pilates classes will help to increase your flexibility and mobility and includes exercises for improving your balance. These classes will assist with strengthening your core muscles to help maintain a correct posture, and relieve muscle tensions. The benefits of this class allows you to enjoy activities a lot more, like spending more time in your garden, or out on the golf course...and may even improve your game too!
This gentle Pilates class is designed specifically for Men and will help you increase flexibility and mobility through your core muscles in your lower back, hip and thighs, to help you maintain correct posture, and relieve muscle tensions.
Come and join us. The class only runs once a week on Friday mornings at 9:00 am with Ally. After class we head of to one of the nearby Cafes for a drink and perhaps a bite to eat. So pop on down and Ally will take care of you.
